Millers Bakehouse Museum
The small industrial museum, housed in the 1930ís Miller Bakehouse, re-creates the days of low tech local baking. The wood fired peel oven, in the 19th century style, is one of a handful left standing.
The Millers Bakehouse museum is operated by volunteer members of the Society. It is open to the public on Sundays, from March to the end of November (except Easter Sunday)
A museum activity program for primary school classes is available, as well as a visitorsí program for Groups e.g. clubs, nursing homes etc.
Sundays 2pm to 4:30pm.
(March to November except Easter Sunday)
Group visits can be arranged at other times and the meeting room is available for hire.
